I will learn to cook. I will cook healthy, nutritious and delicious meals. Yes, yes, I WILL.

Being single and lazy, I don't really like to cook much. I have this thing against eating the same thing 4 days in a row, often for lunch and dinner. Yes, I'm aware I can freeze things and re-heat them for later consumption yet I haven't done that. If I make chili, I eat it for two meals a day until it's gone. No fun.

As an avid reader (but definitely not an avid writer of) of blogs of all sorts, among them food blogs, I do follow a few well known food bloggers. Several of these bloggers have cookbooks coming out and I went a little wild and decided to purchase the fruits of their labor. In the next few months I have these beauties to look forward to. I'm assuming I'll try a recipe or two from each one and then end up giving them away. Here's hoping I buck that trend and actually use them and use them often. I need to have family and friends over once a month to help with both me cooking and with the leftovers problem.

Here are the cookbooks. Go ahead, peruse and order away with unbridled abandon like I did from Amazon. (Titles take you to the storefront.) Better yet, be a better small business citizen than I was and  support your local bookstore and purchase them there.  I had an excuse- my foot was broken.  ;)
